Village Bank gets behind its customers and has their back, even through difficult times. I know in the back of my head that Village Bank is there for me.

What does FAMILY-BUILT mean to you?

When I walked into Village Bank for the first time in 2005, and I met a woman named Dana, the decision was sealed right then. To this day, every time I walk into the bank, Dana comes out and she says to me, “Hi. How are you?” It's like from the heart, and that means a lot to me because it feels good to be known. I've also known Aleesha for years and I've watched her grow into the leader she is today. If I can do business with a community bank where I know the leaders, or I've met the owners and watched who they are in the community, and I'm treated like family, that to me is Family-Built.

What does COMMUNITY-STRONG mean to you?

Community Strong means having one another's back. Life can be tough but with community, it's so much easier. I love the quote that says, “One person can make a difference, but a team of people can make a miracle.” I think that's what my business, Eat Your Peas, and Village Bank does every day. Whether you are part of a small business, a bank, a restaurant, a retail store, or a manufacturing company, we're all creating something larger than ourselves to serve the community. The community can live a better life when we find ways to serve each other and have one another’s back.

What do you value about COMMUNITY BANKING?

I believe Village Bank is truly one of the few banks that really believe in their customers, otherwise, they wouldn't loan them money or build relationships in the first place. Village Bank gets behind its customers and has their back, even through difficult times. It's really nice to know that I'm part of something larger than just my business, to know that I'm part of this community. I know in the back of my head that Village Bank is there for me.
