Charles is a community banker who whole-heartedly helps his clients achieve the success they dream about. He puts relationships first when working closely with clients to analyze and structure new deals that not only serve to accomplish his clients’ goals, but also to help Village Bank build something special.
With almost 20 years in commercial banking and relationship building, Charles has a strong foundation in finding personalized solutions to many business’s financial goals. His problem-solving creativity and imagination are refreshing for his clients. Charles specializes in commercial real estate, land development, construction, and commercial and industrial lending, as well as tax return and financial statement analysis. He is committed to understanding each of his business clients’ needs to provide strategic financial guidance that helps small businesses thrive.
His strengths as an articulate communicator and relationship builder allow him to be an advisor for his clients when it comes to smart financial decisions for their business. Charles appreciates the opportunity to build consensus and facilitate action to see projects through. He is a great asset to any small business’s team.
Charles is an alum of the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado and received his Bachelors from Minnesota State University Moorhead and MBA in Finance from Augsburg University. He lives Village Bank’s #ItTakesaVillage motto by volunteering in his community with several Chambers of Commerce, Feed My Starving Children, and Habitat for Humanity. Taking part in volunteer projects is a passion of his because he takes pride in seeing projects come to life—start to finish. Charles uses his spare time to take on building projects at home and on rental properties.
