Village Bank partners with FHLB to award $20,000 to Support the Troops MN through the Member Impact Fund

At Village Bank, we believe in the power of relationships and the importance of serving those who serve us. That’s why we’re proud to share that, through our partnership with the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines (FHLB Des Moines), we helped Support the Troops MN receive a $20,000 grant from the Member Impact Fund.

This grant was made possible through a 3-to-1 matching program, where FHLB Des Moines contributed $3 for every $1 donated by Village Bank. It’s a powerful example of how collaboration can amplify impact, transforming a single contribution into meaningful support for veterans and military families across Minnesota.

This award is part of a larger $20 million initiative from FHLB Des Moines to strengthen affordable housing and community development across the state. Support the Troops MN will use these funds to further their mission of providing critical aid to Minnesota veterans, active service members, and their families.

This grant marks another chapter in our 19-year relationship with Support the Troops MN—a partnership built on shared values, community commitment, and trust.
